Udavum Ullangal minority educational and charitable trust is a non-profit organization that is established to support educational and charitable activities. The children home is located at Kamaraj Nagar, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli. Currently, the Director of the organization is Mr. S. Dhamodaran, who holds an impressive academic and professional background with an M.A., B.L., M.S.W., and M.Phil. His extensive qualifications and experience make him a valuable leader dedicated to driving the organization’s mission forward.

To the urgent needy of children like Orphan, Semi Orphan, Deserved, Destitute, Abandoned, Children of HIV Affected, Gypsies, Tribals, Prisoners, Female Sex Workers , Sexually Abused and Children Below Poverty Line our founder Mr.S.Dhamodaran is organized an orphan home in the name of Udavum Ullangal Vallalar Illam for Children under Udavum Ullangal Minoriy Educational and Charitable Trust in February 2002. We took much importance to provide qualityEducation, Nutrition, Shelter, Spiritual and Moral Support for all the children in the form of institutional care. He believed that Resocialisation is the only way for the upliftment of these needy children. Providing quality education is the only tool what he is used to get the resocialisation of children.
The journey of Udavum Ullangal started with a simple vision: to make a tangible difference in the lives of helpless children and to build a community that supports their development. Over the years, this vision has grown into a deeply impactful initiative, thanks to the tireless work, compassion, and commitment of our organizing team.
